DR. JACK FREIDEL
WELCOMES NEW PHYSICIAN TO AURORA
A new Family Medicine physician, Susan Grace
Moore, M.D., will soon begin practicing in Aurora. Dr. Moore, who
will be joining Dr. Jack Freidel at his office in the Library Court
Medical Arts Building, will begin seeing patients on Monday, July
19.
“We are extremely pleased to have Dr. Moore
join our office,” stated well-known Aurora physician, Dr. Jack
Freidel. “From our meeting, I feel that she is a very competent and
caring professional. I anticipate that Dr. Moore will be a great
asset to our medical practice and to the City of Aurora and the
surrounding area as well.”
Dr. Moore earned her Medical Degree from the
University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor. She completed
her internship and family medicine residency at Spectrum Health in
Grand Rapids and McLaren Family Medicine/McLaren Regional Medical
Center in Flint, both of which are affiliated with the Michigan
State University College of Human Medicine in East Lansing. Her
undergraduate degree is from Kettering University, also in Flint.
“I think patients will realize that I am very
easygoing. Seeing a doctor shouldn’t be a stressful situation.
Patients need to feel comfortable and at ease when seeing their
physician,” explained Dr. Moore. “An increased level of
communication between patients and physicians usually results in a
superior level of healthcare.
“One very important aspect of my job is to help
patients understand their illness or disease or their likelihood to
develop a specific illness or disease,” she continued. “In addition
to formulating a diagnosis and specific plan of care, my job is to
provide patients with the educational resources necessary to help
them make sound choices to maintain or improve their health.
“Above all else, I respect my patients and
listen to them. Sometimes health issues are a result of or are made
worse by certain lifestyle and/or environmental factors. By working
cooperatively with the patient, in many instances, we are able to
minimize or eliminate the adverse effect these factors have on their
health and long-term well being.
“My role models have always been the
old-fashioned country doctors,” concluded Dr. Moore. “Regardless of
the circumstances, they were there for their patients. Going above
and beyond to see that their patients had the best care possible.
That’s what I want for my patients. To not only meet their needs
but to exceed their expectations for a primary care physician.”
Dr. Moore is currently welcoming new patients
to her practice. Appointments are now being accepted for dates in
mid-July and later. For additional information or to schedule an
